The play development process hums with anticipation, insecurity, and the constant crackle of ideas in the air. Festivals that celebrate those ideas are microcosms of community and joy. My background as a writer and director allow me to anticipate the excitement around the rehearsal table, and the moments of discovery in front of the music stands, and to weave them into their own narrative that wholeheartedly celebrates the creative process.
